Motels (828) 749-9698 229 Greenville St Saluda 28773 A rustic retreat. We are walking distance to a small historic town with 2 parks, several restaurants, shops and friendly people. The property does not have air condition - but has ceiling fans and screened windows. We have wireless. There is a TV but very little reception - can be used with other portable devices for watching movies. This is a mountain retreat that was built 150 years ago. The doors creek and the hardwood floors squeak. Our repeat customers enjoy these nuances. There is a rope swing the kids love and shuffle board court. We also have added a bocce ball court. Our Kitchen is great for large groups. The property is mostly shaded by mature landscaping and large trees. Our porch offers a sunny and shady side. We also have a great fire pit for those chilly evenings. We live next door and are available 24 hours a day. When we are not rented to large groups, we happily rent individual rooms. If you want to get away to the simple life - this is the place for you.
